"Our party espoused Marxism, Maoism and Leninism as per the country's own need and demand of the time and situation," Prachanda said. He also made it clear that his party would not return to the path of violence as in the past when they fought the Peoples War. "Our party has changed and has followed new organisational structure and new working style which have been endorsed by the seventh general convention that concluded recently," he pointed out. Addressing the meeting, party Vice-chairman and Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai underscored the party's proposal for forming election government under the sitting chief justice as the only option now left as the opposition parties have already rejected continuing with his own government till new Constituent Assembly elections. �"Why should anybody have problem forming a government under the leadership of head of judiciary, which is considered a free and impartial organ?" he asked. Earlier, thousands of cadres from the party rallied around the main parts of the capital city before converging into a public gathering. The four major political forces including UCPN-Maoist, Nepali Congress, CPN-UML and the Madhesi Front are holding final round of talks to forge consensus on formation of a new government to end the ongoing political and constitutional deadlock.
