The restoration work of a small portion of Sher Shah Gate, which collapsed in heavy rainfall in 2012, is likely to be completed by the next March, the Lok Sabha was told today.
Minister of State for Culture Mahesh Sharma said, a brick wall was raised to support the structure and detailed documentation was done after the collapse.
"Necessary repair/restoration work has been taken up and it is in progress. The work is likely to be completed in the next financial year 2015-16," he said in a written reply in the Lok Sabha.
