Repolling held in two polling stations

Re-polling was held today at two different polling stations, one each in the Delhi Cantt and Rohtash Nagar assembly constituencies after anomaly was found in EVM machines.

According to the Election Commission officials, the polling was peaceful.

Delhi Cantt saw a voter turn out of 69.68 per cent with 344 men and 288 women casting their ballot.

The voter turn out at Rohtash Nagar was 66.19 per cent with 461 men and 377 women casting their votes.

According to the officials, mock poll data was not erased at booth number 132 in Rohtas Nagar in east Delhi while at booth number 31 in Delhi Cantt's DID Lines area, the observer's had reported problem in EVM machines.
 

The Delhi assembly elections on Saturday saw a voter turnout of 67.14 per cent.
