The Election Commission today dubbed as "baseless and incorrect" media reports that there was a mismatch in the votes cast and votes registered in the Dholpur assembly bypoll held on Sunday.
In a statement issued here, the poll watchdog referred to reports that the votes given to one party were going to another party.
Quoting the Rajasthan Chief Electoral Officer, the Commission said only 2 EVMs out of the 231 deployed had to be changed due to technical problems during the polling.
