Panda, who could manage to escape the encounter where five Maoists were killed, termed the reports about his injury in the encounter as a "rumour."
While police continued search operation to nab Panda in different jungles of southern parts of the state, the guerrilla released the second audio-tape after the November 14 encounter. The copies of audio-tapes were distributed among media persons.
Rejecting the police allegation that the Maoist leader was involved in extortion of money from contractors, Panda challenged the Director General of Police Prakash Mishra to either prove the allegations or quit the top police post.
Significantly Panda said he had kept open the door for talks with the government.
He has also condemned the hanging of Kasab saying that death penalty should be abolished in India for good.
