'Reservation', 'Excavator' win top prizes at BIFFES 2018

"Reservation" and South Korean movie "Excavator" today won top honours at the Bengaluru International Film Festival 2018.

"Reservation", directed by Nikhil Manjoo, bagged the Karnataka Chalanchitra Academy Award under the Kannada Competition category.

"Excavator" by Ju-Hyoung Lee received the Best Asian Film - NETPAC Award.

P Sheshadri-directed "Beti" bagged the NETPAC International Jury Award for Kannada film.

In the Kannada Cinema Popular Entertainment category, "Raajakumara", directed by Santhosh Ananddram, was named the winner.

Chezhian Ra's Tamil drama "To-Let" won the FIPRESCI India - P K Nair Memorial Award.

The Chitra Bharathi Award went to Bengali film "Mayurakshi" by Atanu Ghosh, while Assamese film "Ishu", directed by Utpal Borpujari received Special Jury Mention.
 

The 10th edition of the BIFFES, which began on February 22, ended today.
