"Since the government is passing many Bills despite the deadlock in Parliament, we demand that this crucial Bill to provide reservation to SC/STs in promotion in jobs should be brought before Parliament in this session itself and passed," LJP chief Ramvilas Paswan told PTI.
Paswan said the Forum has also decided to make a demand before Assembly Speakers in all the states to install the statue of Dalit icon B R Ambedkar in their Assembly premises.
"We will hold a demonstration outside the main gate of Parliament tomorrow morning for this purpose," Paswan said.
During the all-party meeting convened by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh earlier this month, it was decided that wider consultations would be held on the issue to forge a consensus before the bill is tabled in Parliament.
While the BSP spearheaded demand for early introduction of the Bill, its arch rival Samajwadi Party strongly objected to the very concept of reservation in promotion.
