Reshuffle of IPS cadres in West Bengal

Director of Security in West Bengal Sanjoy Mukherjee will now take over as additional director general, CID, replacing Dr Rajesh Kumar, following a reshuffle of IPS cadres in the state.

Kumar has been transferred to West Bengal Pollution Control Board (WBPCB) in the same rank as ADG, state secretariat sources said here today.

Sib Sankar Dutta, IGP, CID-II in state police has been transferred as IGP (Organisation).

Ashok Kumar Prasad, IGP (Personnel), has been asked to take over as IGP, CID-II in the state police, the sources said.

Sunil Kumar Choudhary, SSP (Coordination), South 24-Parganas has been asked to take charge as Joint CP, Siliguri Police Commissionerate.
 

Parul Kush Jain, Commandant of the state-armed police third battalion, will now take over as DIG (Personnel) in state police.

Santosh Pandey, DC (Headquarters), Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate, will take charge as SSP (Coordination) in South 24 Parganas district.

Amit Javalgi, Commandant in state-armed police, 8th battalion, has also been asked to take over as DC (Headquarters), Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate, the sources added.
