Cloudy sky today brought respite to the week-long heat wave conditions in Jharkhand as maximum temperatures hovered between 32 to 38 degrees Celsius during the day, MeT office said.
The cloudy conditions accompanied by cool breeze brought the people out on streets after days of deserted roads during afternoons as several districts experienced 40 to 45 degrees Celsius till yesterday.
Garhwa, which recorded 45 degrees C for two straight days, witnessed light rains.
