A retired engineer and an army jawan allegedly committed suicide in separate incidents in Jammu district, police said here.
Yash Vardhan Singh, retired Junior Engineer, committed suicide by hanging from a fan at his residence in Gandhi Nagar area of Jammu city this morning, they said.
In another incident, Sepoy P Vinood ended him life by shooting himself with his service rifle at Field Ammunition Depot (FAD) in Jindrah area of Jammu district last evening, officials said.
Vinood belong to Maharashtra and a case has been registered in this regard.
