Odisha Higher Education Minister Pradeep Panigrahi has asked academicians to revamp the present sylabus in higher education and to design it appropriately to enable the students to compete at national and international levels.
"The percentage of students from the state succeeding in national and international level is very nominal. Success rate of students from other states, particularly in southern India is higher," the minister said at a meet here yesterday.
"Its time to think about the sorry state of affairs prevailing in the state and to take steps to produce the best students," he said.
