Revenue clerk shot dead in Nalanda

Two motorcycle borne miscreants today shot dead a revenue clerk in Bihar's Nalanda district.

The incident occurred when the man was on his way to Biharisharif from Bind in a private bus. The two bike borne miscreats entered the bus after stopping it near Jaintipur village and shot him dead, superintendent of police Kumar Ashish said.

The revenue clerk of Lodipur panchayat, who is a resident of Rajgir, died on the spot.

The SP and other police officials rushed to the spot and investigation into the killing has been launched.
