Revenue Department of Delhi government conducted traffic enforcement drive to check traffic violations and put as many as 650 commercial vehicles on notice.

The drive, which was yesterday held at 100 locations, was also used as an occasion for spreading awareness amongst the drivers and permit holders of commercial vehicles on the permit conditions.

According to the department, almost 2,000 vehicles of various categories including auto-rickshaws, tempos, e-rickshaws, grameen seva vehicles and RTVs were inspected and 660 put to notice for violation of various permit conditions.

In North Delhi, 177 vehicles were inspected and of them, 70 vehicles were put on notice for suspension of permit and impounding. In West Delhi, 106 vehicles were put on notice while in South-West Delhi, 103 vehicles were slapped notice for the same.
