Revenue Inspector, Patwari beaten up in Noida

A Revenue Inspector and a Patwari were today allegedly beaten up by land mafias in Alivardipur village here, police said.

The incident occurred when the duo had gone for measurement of land at Gram Samaj in the village on the instructions of the SDM following a complaint of land grabbing, they said.

They were assaulted by land mafias, police said adding that an FIR has been lodged in the case.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident today, a parking attendant at the ARTO office in Sector 32 was allegedly beaten up by some men, police said.

The attendant was beaten up by the accused men over an issue of parking fee, according to the FIR filed by the victim at Sector 24 police station.
 

In another incident, a man fogging the fields was reportedly beaten up by some unidentified men in Morna village today, police said.

He was roughed up for resisting their demand to not fog the fields, they said adding that an FIR has been lodged at Sector 24 police station.
