Janak Singh was killed in Sadabad area here last evening by the five people who first hit his motorcycle and then crushed him under their jeep.
While Janak died on the spot, his nephew was injured in the incident.
An FIR was later registered against BSP leader Jaiveer Singh, who is also block head and four others in this regard and a manhunt was launched to nab them.
