A revenue official posted in Ramnagar area here has been arrested for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 1,000, police said today.
The official Ajay Singh Parmar was arrested last evening during a raid by sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Bureau Inspector Neeraj Gupta said.
The accused had allegedly demanded Rs 1,000 from Badal Garg, a resident of Guru Nanak colony here, for further action on a form of Kisan Credit Card (KCC), Gupta said.

Acting on his complaint, a team of ACB sleuths laid a trap and arrested Parmar from a tea stall in front of Bundi SP office, where he had called Garg with the bribery amount, he said.
The bribe money was recovered from him, Gupta said, adding, the accused would be produced before a court today.
In September 2010, Parmar was held while accepting a bribe of Rs 18,500 during his posting in Keshoraipatan area of the district, Gupta said.
His suspension was recently revoked. However, the trial is on, he said.
