Sanjay Kumar, posted as a revenue official in Kota, had demanded the bribe from a property dealer Mahaveer Yadav for a land related official work, an agency official said here.
After verification of the complaint lodged by Yadav, a trap was laid and the accused was held in his office while taking the money from him.
The official has been arrested while further probes are on, he added.
