Reward announced on arrest of SP MLA's brothers in murder case

Police today announced a reward of Rs 2,500 on information leading to the arrest of two brothers of Samajwadi Party MLA Jagram Paswan in connection with alleged killing of a man in a road rage incident.

Annu Paswan and Sadhu Paswan, who are the brothers of SP MLA from Balrampur, were allegedly involved in the incident that took place on March 5 night, police said.

They said the accused had shot dead Jairam Yadav (40) following a dispute over their vehicles brushing past each other during overtaking in Dhanepur area.

The two brothers were named in an FIR in connection with the case, police said, adding they have declared a reward of Rs 2,500 on each on them.
 

The incident had taken place when Yadav was returning from a marriage function at Tariyapurwa village under the Dhanepur police station of Balrampur, police said.

They said a case of murder has been registered and they are trying to arrest the accused.
