RFI announces India's rowing team for Asian Games

The Rowing Federation of India (RFI) has announced a 36-member squad for the upcoming Asian Games to be held in Incheon, South Korea, from September 19 to October 4.

The team, which consists of well-known Indian rowers such as Sawarn Singh and Bajrang Lal Takhar, have 22 men, nine women, besides four coaches and a physio.

The team is leaving for the Games from Hyderabad on September 14 and will return on September 27.

Open Men's Single Sculls [M1X]: Sawarn Singh

Lightweight Men's Single Sculls [LM1X]: Dushyant

Lightweight Men's Double Sculls [LM2X]: Roopender Singh, Manjeet Singh

Open Men's Double Sculls [M2X]: Om Prakash, Bhokanal Dattu
 

Light Weight Men's Quadruple Sculls [LM4X]: Rakesh Raliya, Vikram Singh, Sonu Laxmi Naraian, Shokendar Tomar

Open Men's Coxed Eights [M8+]: Kapil Sharma, Robin P U, Ranjit Singh, Bajrang Lal Takhar, Ranjit Singh, Davinder Singh, Mohammad Azad, Maninder Singh, Sawan Kumar Kalkal, Md. Ahmed
