In restricted activity, rice basmati prices fell at the wholesale market today following weak demand against adequate stocks positions.
However, other grains moved in a narrow range in scattered deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said besides fall in demand, adequate stocks position mainly led to the decline in rice basmati prices.

In the national capital, rice basmati Pusa-1121 variety eased to Rs 7,300-9,800 against last close of Rs 7,300-10,000 per quintal.
