In restricted activity, rice basmati prices fell by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today due to slackened demand.
However, other grains traded in a narrow range and closed with hardly any change in their prices.
Marketmen said subdued demand against sufficient stocks position led to the decline in rice basmati prices.
