Rice basmati prices rose by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today on increased offtake by stockists.
Traders said besides fresh buying by stockists, restricted arrivals from producing belts led to rise in rice basmati prices.
In the national capital, rice basmati common and Pusa-1121 variety moved up by Rs 100 each to Rs 5,700-5,900 and Rs 4,600-5,800 per quintal, respectively.
