Rice basmati prices fell further by Rs 200 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today on persistent supplies from producing belts against lack of buying support from stockists.
However, other grains including wheat moved in a tight range in scattered deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said adequate stocks position following increased supplies from producing regions mainly kept pressure on rice basmati prices.
