The 12-nation event, held from April 6 to 11, saw the participation of teams from hosts Malaysia, Brunei, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and UAE, besides India.
A 14-member Indian team, comprising seven men and an equal number of women, participated in the week-long tournament. Every female member of the Indian squad clinched a medal in their respective categories.
In total, India won six medals, with one medal coming from men's section.
In girls under-25 section, Nain Muni Saikia clinched the gold medal by defeating an opponent from Malaysia.
In women's pair event, Manu Pal and Kavita won the silver medal while in triple section, the trio of Pinki, Farzana Khan and Lovely Chaubey clinched the silver medal, defeating Thailand.
In women's fours event, the team comprising of Pinki, Farzana, Kavita and Manu Pal won the bronze medal by defeating Chinese players.
Tania Chaudhary won the bronze in girls under-25 category.
