Actress Richa Chadha has signed on to star in director Omung Kumar's upcoming biopic "Sarabjit", which sees Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Randeep Hooda in lead roles.
The 26-year-old actress, who is riding high on the success of "Masaan", will play Sarabjit's wife (Hooda) in the the film based on the Indian, who died in a Pakistani jail.
"Yes they have approached me and I will be doing it. However, at this point of time paper work is being done and I can't comment anything more. I have been offered the role to play Randeep's wife and I will sign on the dotted lines soon. It is an interesting role and can't wait to talk more on the same," Richa said in a statement.

This will be the actress' second film opposite Hooda. The two will be seen together in upcoming film "Main Aur Charles", also a biopic.
In the film, Aishwarya will play Sarabjit's sister, Dalbir Kaur, who fought for her brother's release from the Lahore jail but her quest ended tragically when he died in 2013 following a brutal attack by fellow prisoners.
