Mohd Akil was apprehended from near Guru Nanak Eye hospital on Ranjit Singh Marg yesterday on a tip-off, Devesh Srivastava, Additional Commissioner of Police (Central), said.
During interrogation, Srivastava claimed, Akil told police that he used to purchase smack from one Salim.
"He came to Delhi an year ago. He could not earn enough money to run his family. So he got into drug trade," the officer said.
