The 24-year-old said she has not heard anything about herself starring in a movie about Houston's life, reported Showbizspy.
"That's just rumours. I never heard anything about that," Rihanna said.
The speculations is thought to have stemmed from an interview in which Rihanna said she would give her entire life to play Houston who died this February.
"That would be something that I would have to give my entire life to do, because I would really want to pull it off. That's a huge, huge role, and whoever does it has to do a good job.
"My first song that I remember falling in love with was a Whitney Houston song: 'I Will Always Love You'. It was really inspiring, and it made me develop a passion for music, so really, she's partly responsible for me being here in this industry," she had said.
