R&B star Rihanna was honored with the 2014 Fashion Icon Award at the annual Council of Fashion Designers of America awards.
Rihanna, 26, looked stunning as she hit the Big Apple for the colorful carpet at the CDFA awards on June 2 in a sequin dress and head scarf, reported the Huffington Post.
The 'Umbrella' hitmaker showed off her entire body in the dress and teamed it with a super sexy smokey eye and long, dramatic lashes.
Previous honorees of the fashion icon award have been Lady Gaga, Kate Moss, Nicole Kidman and Johnny Depp.
