Actor Ranbir Kapoor and his father Rishi Kapoor, who is undergoing treatment in New York, met screen legend Robert De Niro.
Rishi shared a photo with De Niro and Ranbir from the "impromptu meeting" on his Twitter.
"Wow moment. Impromptu meeting with Robert De Nero on 65th and 3rd. He knew Ranbir because he had met him and Anupam and said come over with Kher for a drink!" he wrote.
Rishi said he was awestruck by the "simplicity and super stardom" of the veteran actor.
"Simplicity and super stardom. I realized I have been such a bloody brat. Cannot get over his demeanor. Thank you Bob!" he added.
Rishi is in the US as he undergoes treatment. However, the actor has not revealed exact nature of his ailment.
Ranbir and mother Neetu Singh are with Rishi in New York to accompany him.
