"We will support the candidature of Hamid Ansari as the next president of the country though RJD is a small party ... Ansari is a good personality and he is appropriate for the post of president," Prasad told reporters here.
Referring to media reports about former president A P J Abdul Kalam and Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee as being possible contenders in the forthcoming presidential election, he said the former has not spoken anything about his intention to contest and the latter's name in the race is just media speculation.
