Talks between Congress and RJD are on following the Lalu Prasad party's requested for three more seats after Congress conceded six of the 13 Assembly segments going for first phase of polling on November 25.

"We have requested to allot Bhavnathpur, Bishrampur and Panki seats as Palamau division is RJD's bastion," RJD's Jharkhand unit spokesman Manoj Kumar said.

As per the seat adjustments with Congress and JD(U), RJD has already got Garwha, Hussainabad, Chhatarpur, Latehar, Maneka and Chatra constituencies, he said.

All the nine constituencies are among the 13 seats going for the first phase polling.

RJD allotted tickets to state unit president and former minister Girinath Singh (Garhwa), sitting MLAs Sanjay Singh Yadav (Hussainabad), Janardhan Paswan (Chatra) and former MLAs Manoj Bhuyan (Chhatarpur) and Ram Chandra Singh (Manika).

Vijay Ram (Latehar) is the other candidate, the RJD leader said.

Jharkhand is going for a five-phase polling between November 25 and December 20.
