Three persons were killed and 34 others were injured when a bus they were travelling in rammed into a potato-laden truck at Mathabhanga in Cooch Behar district today.
The police said that the exact location of the collision was Bhaber-hat in the Pachagarh Gram Panchayat area in Mathabhanga sub-division.
The 34 injured include two children. Among the killed was the driver of the bus.
The injured were shifted to the Mathabhanga Sub-divisional Hospital where three were declared 'brought dead'.
The conditions of eight is serious, according to hospital sources.
