A spokesman of the Transport department said the department has written to all the Deputy Commissioners to organize the activities by involving concerned departments.
Enforcement campaigns would also be launched during the week to underscore the seriousness about the safety of road users.
A state level function would also be organized at Rohtak with a view to promoting the concept of road safety, he added.
To encourage participation by students, prizes would be given to winning participants in various programmes, he added.
He said a special camps would be organized in which eye vision of drivers would be checked.
