Delhi police have arrested a kingpin of a gang of robbers from Ahmedabad, who robbed people in several cities of the country.
With the arrest of Bharat on May 18 from Ahmedabad, the police said they have cracked two robbery cases of over Rs 1.5 crore.
The gang used commit robberies in metropolitan cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad and would visit these cities by air.

According to the Delhi Police, on October 9 last, one Himmat Bafna was robbed of jewellery worth Rs 1.5 crore by bike-borne criminals while he was on his way to Preet Vihar.
Similarly, Jaiveer Singh, a supervisor with a company of Patparganj, who had come to ICICI Bank to encash a cheque amounting Rs 3,53,400, was robbed by bike-borne criminals.
"During the course of investigation, the team of special staff collected around 15 CCTV footages from the bank, outside it and near the traffic signal. The CCTV footages of both the incidents were minutely analysed.
"From the analysis, it was found that some faces were commonly seen in both the footages. Six suspects and three motorcycles were suspected to be involved in the commission of the crimes. One of the criminals was around 50 years of age," Ajay Kumar, DCP (East District) said.
After going through more than a thousand dossiers of criminals, it came to the fore that one gang from Ahmedabad, Gujarat was arrested in Rajouri Garden police station, in a similar incident in 2013.
"Though the photographs of those criminals did not match with those involved in these incidents, but the modus operandi and involvement of the person over 50 years were common.
