Unidentified robbers entered an ATM of a bank and decamped with the cash dispensing machine containing Rs 29 lakh cash from sector 16 here, police said today.
Robbers first broke open the shutter of the ATM and then uprooted the cash dispensing machine and fled last night, investigating officer Satish said here.
He further said they also took away CCTV camera with themselves.
At the time of incident, there was no guard posted outside the ATM, he said.
A team of Forensic Laboratory today visited the spot to collect fingerprints, police said.
Police said search operations to trace the robbers are underway and a case has been registered in this regard.
