Unidentified robbers entered an ATM kiosk of a private bank in Patan town and decamped with the cash dispensing machine, police said today.
The robbers had cut the wires of the CCTV camera and hence any recording of the theft was not available, they said.
After taking out the cash, the accused dumped the machine at a secluded place last night, SHO, Patan, Mahendra Meena said.
At the time of incident, there was no guard posted outside the ATM, he said.
"The money robbed is yet to be ascertained. We have asked the bank officials to tell us the amount. The search is underway to nab the accused," the police official said.
