Two persons were arrested after alert passengers foiled a loot attempt by them in Shamli-Saharanpur passenger train, police said today.

According to GRP SHO Balram Singh, the incident took place yesterday when two miscreants started looting passengers of the Shamli-Saharanpur train on knife point.

However, some passengers overpowered the robbers and handed them over to the Government Railway Police.
