Vinod Arora had come home to have lunch in the afternoon, when the three assailants entered the residence and held the family hostage at gun point, SP (City) Om Prakash said.
They decamped with cash and jewelery worth Rs 10 lakh, he said.
Prima facie it appears that local persons were involved in the robbery, he said, adding, efforts were on to trace them.
