The 38-year-old Take That star will play five dates in the UK as part of the tour, which is in support of his recent chart-topping album Take the Crown, reported Digital Spy online.

The European shows will start at Manchester's Etihad Stadium in the UK on June 19 and conclude at Tallinn Song Festival Grounds in Estonia on August 20.

Williams will be joined by special guest Olly Murs for the shows, after originally duetting with the star during the 'X Factor' live final back in 2009.

"So, the rumours are true; I'm getting Robbie Williams back together again. I'm going on a European tour to start out with and see how that goes," he added. "I'm buzzing, I'm ready to go. I haven't done a tour of this size since 2006," Williams said.

"I believe I'm at a place in my career where it's time to put my foot down and go, 'This is what I do!' I think it's legacy time for me because I'm venturing into getting my handicap down at golf! I'm nearly forty; that's what I'm trying to say. I don't know how many times around I will get given this opportunity," he added.

Tickets for Robbie Williams's 2013 stadium tour go on sale from November 30.
