Singer Robbie Williams has paid the ultimate tribute to late Ronnie Corbett by getting an inking of the comedian and his late sidekick Ronnie Barker's spectacles on his neck.

The 42-year-old singer shared a picture of his latest tattoo, which comprises of two pairs of glasses in a nod to Ronnie, who died on Thursday aged 85, and his late comedy sidekick, who were known as The Two Ronnies.

"Ronnie Corbett: You inspired me at a very young age. THANK YOU. You'll always be with me x (sic)," Williams wrote on Twitter.

The picture is taken from a side-on view of Williams, who is wearing a baseball cap in the snap, so the black neck tattoo of the spectacles is clearly visible.

Corbett passed away after being diagnosed with motor neurone disease in March 2015, while Barker died in October 2005 aged 76.

Following Corbett's death, it has been reported that he was in line to receive a knighthood from Queen Elizabeth.
