The 38-year-old 'Angels' singer - who gave up drinking after getting hooked on drugs and alcohol following his 1995 departure from his group Take That - has now bid goodbye to his 40-a-day cigarette habit, reported Sun online.

"So far he hasn't smoked in ten days. He wants to start a family with Ayda soon, so it's a good move. He's also in training for the Unicef Soccer Aid match at Old Trafford in May, so he'll need to be fit," said a source.

Williams entered rehab on his 33rd birthday after getting addicted to prescription medication, and believes he would have had a heart attack if his management team hadn't stepped in to save him.
