Robert Pattinson is not a fan of Edward Cullen's fans.

Pattinson, who gained global stardom by playing the lead role of Edward Cullen in hit vampire romance franchise 'Twilight', says he wonders what the die-hard fans do other than commenting on everything related to 'Twilight'.

In a chat with the German edition of Interview magazine, the actor also revealed how he disliked his media created nickname 'R-Patz', reported Us magazine.

"What's really weird about Twilight fans is that they're not really teenagers. Most of them are older. Twilight has its own fan culture that existed from day one. And in an intense way that didn't exist before.

"Sometimes I ask myself what these masses of people do the whole day. They sit in front of their computers and comment on anything having even remotely to do with Twilight."

Sharing his dislike for his abbreviated name, Pattinson, 27, said he would like to "strangle" the blogger responsible for it.

"I'd like to strangle the guy who came up with it!," Pattinson said, revealing it was "some fat celebrity blogger."

Author Stephenie Meyer is also not keen to visit 'Twilight' characters in her future books.
