Veteran actor Robert Redford is in talks to join the cast of the 'Captain America' sequel.
The 76-year-old actor is slated to make his debut in the comic book movie genre as a high-powered government agent, opposite Chris Evans and Sebastian Stan in 'Captain America: Winter Soldier', the Hollywood Reporter said.
Joe & Anthony Russo will start shooting the sequel in May.
'Captain America: The First Avenger' released in 2011. The film became a critical and commercial success, grossing a total of USD 368.6 million worldwide.
