India and Delhi Dynamos FC striker Robin Singh today lauded the Indian Super League side's grassroot scouting initiative, saying that it will help the aspiring youngsters develop their football skills and become future stars.
"It is amazing that Delhi Dynamos is doing so much for aspiring footballers in North India. I wholeheartedly support the multiple initiatives launched by the Club. It is a great pleasure to see the drive and zeal in all the kids and I am sure this will allow them to reach great heights," Robin said while interacting the children present at the grassroots scouting festival here.
Delhi Dynamos, in association with the ISL, conducted its grassroots scouting festival for the Reliance Foundation Young Champs Programme. The Dynamos kicked off their grassroots programme for 2016 with an open trial on March 30 which saw a turnout of over 350 kids out of which 120 were shortlisted.

The top 110 players selected from the open trials along with further scouted players from the club's various grassroots initiatives formed the cream of the talent for the festival.
The trials were jointly conducted by Delhi Dynamos coaches and Reliance Foundation Young Champs Coaches in assistance with their team of Elite Coaches.
Based on the performance, the final selection of talented players from today's event will head to Mumbai along with their counterparts from seven other ISL teams to take part in the final selection camp where they will stand a chance to be selected for the Reliance Foundation Young Champs Programme.
Prashant Agarwal, Delhi Dynamos FC President, said: "We very proud to conduct the Delhi leg of the Scouting Festival for Reliance Foundation Young Champs successfully. I am sure after seeing the talent and enthusiasm of our young Dynamos, Delhi would have a great representation in The Reliance Foundation Young Champs residential scholarship programme.
"We are launching academies in several parts of the city with an elite academy in Greater Noida which would be up and running by August this year. We are also opening up an elite residential academy with world class facilities and infrastructure in Ekana, Lucknow later this year.
