Supported by uptick in demand at domestic spot markets against restricted arrivals from producing belts, refined soya oil prices traded higher by

0.15 per cent to Rs 750 per 10 kg.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in October rose by Rs 1.10, or 0.15 per cent to Rs 750 per 10 kg with an open interest of 31,850 lots.

In a similar fashion, the oil for delivery in September edged up by 65 paise, or 0.09 per cent to Rs 746.20 per 10 kg in 28,840 lots.

Analysts said fresh positions built up by traders following pick up in demand in the spot market against restricted supplies from producing regions helped refined soya oil prices to trade higher at futures trade.
