Bengali rockstar Rupam Islam has urged UNICEF to let him know every single instance of child assault.

Rupam, who feels rejuvenated to interact with kids, said, "I would love to rush to every place where any child abuse takes place. I can take up the issue in my songs"

Regretting his previous album on street children failed to take any sponsors and fizzled out, Rupam said, "It was aimed at funding their education."

Rupam, roped in by UNICEF to mark their 25th year of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), said he and his Fossils members turn Santas on every December 24 night hitting the street to help the street children.

"I would also love to be engaged to help tap the musical talent of the children under UNICEF projects. They are not familiar with the procedures of a musical programme. If I can take few classes with them, they will be initiated to music and stage performances," Rupam said.
