"I have seen a cancer patient very closely, my friend Yuvraj Singh. I know what kind of disease it is. If kids are going through cancer, then it is sad. I will keep visiting the kids here," Sharma told reporters here.

"I have always had love for kids. Seeing such young kids battling for life is really disheartening to see. I am happy that I came here today," said the the 25-year-old cricketer who played the first of his 85 ODIs five years ago but is yet to make his Test debut.

Yuvraj, who fought back after being diagnosed with a rare germ cell cancer last year, has forced his way back into the Indian Test squad in the ongoing series against England after commendable performances in the domestic circuit.
