Rohtak varsity contributes nearly 14L for JK flood victims

Maharishi Dayanand University of Rohtak has contributed nearly Rs 14 lakh for the flood victims of Jammu and Kashmir.

Haryana Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki was today presented with a cheque for Rs 13,92,930 by university Vice Chancellor H S Chahal.

The cheque was given to the Governor at the Haryana Raj Bhawan here, an official spokesman said.

The amount has been collected by students, teachers and staff members of the university and it will be sent to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund.
