Carnation Hospitality firm Rollatainers today said it will open 550 outlets of its coffee chain Barista in the next 5 years.
In August this year, Rollatainers acquired Barista brand from Italy's Lavazza which exited from coffee shop business in India.
"The company has approved expansion plan of its food business which includes opening of 550 new outlets of its Barista chain in period of next 5 years," Rollatainers said in a BSE filing.

Lavazza, which had bought the cafe brand Barista in 2007, sold Barista with over 190 outlets. Lavazza continues to supply coffee to Barista through a long-term supply agreement.
