A minor fire today broke out at an old abandoned building of District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), completely gutting its roof top in the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The fire broke out around 12.30 pm in which the roof top of the building was gutted completely in Kishtwar town, about 230 kms from Jammu, police said.
As soon as the incident took place, senior officials of district administration, police, fire tender servicemen and general public rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, they added.
